About Me

I’m a reporter for Good Morning Arizona. The best times to catch me on 3TV are Saturdays and Sundays from 6 am-10 am.

I am a proud Arizonan. I grew up in Glendale, Ariz. and have more than a decade of experience in the broadcast news industry. I’ve lived in the state’s major cities including Flagstaff, Yuma, and Tucson. I currently live in Phoenix with my husband and two rescued Shih Tzus.

I am a product of the Peoria Unified School District and discovered my passion to tell stories while delivering the morning TV announcements at Ironwood High School.

I earned myself a four-year college scholarship to swim on the Division I Northern Arizona University women’s swimming and diving team. I graduated with a degree in Electronic Media and Film with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in public relations.

I’m dedicated to researching, writing, and presenting information that’s going to empower you to make the best decisions for you and your family. Before beginning my broadcast journalism career, I spent 15 years swimming competitively. It’s also my mission to bring attention to the importance of water safety.

My last name is pronounced “Hetch-uh-no-vah.” So instead of “what the heck,” it’s #WhatTheHech!

Once you see it in action on social media or Good Morning Arizona’s weekend shows, you’re in on it! I want to see your #WhatTheHech moments too!

I’m passionate about water safety. It was my life before my broadcast career. By blending my two passions, I hope together – we can save lives.

It’s not just a hashtag. It’s a bold statement.

Downtime is important! Especially during a year where the lines between work and home have become so blurred. Put your hair up in a #DoneBun to let everyone know you’re done for the day. You did it! Share your #DoneBun photo so we can all cheer each other on toward better life balance!
