I am a proud Arizonan. I grew up in Glendale, Ariz. and have more than a decade of experience in the broadcast news industry. I’ve lived in the state’s major cities including Flagstaff, Yuma, and Tucson. I currently live in Phoenix with my husband and two rescued Shih Tzus.
I am a product of the Peoria Unified School District and discovered my passion to tell stories while delivering the morning TV announcements at Ironwood High School.
I earned myself a four-year college scholarship to swim on the Division I Northern Arizona University women’s swimming and diving team. I graduated with a degree in Electronic Media and Film with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in public relations.
I’m dedicated to researching, writing, and presenting information that’s going to empower you to make the best decisions for you and your family. Before beginning my broadcast journalism career, I spent 15 years swimming competitively. It’s also my mission to bring attention to the importance of water safety.
